Pallavi has cultivated and nurtured this deep and broad network of decision-makers, influencers, and domain experts over her 25+ year storied career at Fortune-100 high technology firms and boutique as well as large/publicly listed investment banks.

Pallavi started her career as a lead engineer and quickly rose into senior alliance, business development, and marketing roles. She helped invent, develop, productize, market, and commercialize impactful innovations. She also developed and led 120+ strategic alliances to help generate $250+ million/year in new revenue.

Pallavi’s natural talents, personal integrity, and successes in creative IP monetization and lucrative IP transactions propelled her career as a trusted investment banker, alliance advisor, and broker.

Professional Experience

Pallavi joined Mobity in April 2020 to launch and lead Mobity’s IP & technology transactions practice.

Before, Pallavi was the head of IP Transactions at Houlihan Lokey (NYSE: HLI), a mid-market investment bank, where she closed 50+ patent transactions in three years. Before HLI, she served HP in various executive roles for over a decade where she helped create and monetize HP’s technology innovations through new product and business incubation, channel/partner development, technology M&A’s, and patent sales deals. Before HP, Pallavi managed digital media alliances for Sun Microsystems (now Oracle). Prior to Sun, as the lead engineer at Sarnoff Labs of the Stanford Research Institute (SRI), she pioneered and demonstrated the world’s first interactive HDTV at NAB-1995.

Industry peers rate Pallavi as one of the most influential IP and technology transaction brokers, M&A advisors, and investment bankers. In addition, Pallavi is also a renowned media spokesperson used to delivering 100+ executive briefings annually, and a published author whose work is cited by 200+ publications (including by many of the mega-cap internet and media companies). As a technologist with an engineering background, she is also the inventor of 18 worldwide patents cited by 260+ other patents. Pallavi has served as Board Observer for a Softbank-funded Silicon Valley company, chaired the MPEG4-Java international standards committee, and contributed to the ISO image and video compression standards.
